Microblading Special

You can read more info about microblading and permanent makeup below if you'd like. Also, check out @maloribeauty on Instagram for transformation photos!

Microblading is a brow shaping technique that deposits permanent pigment into the skin with a small handheld tool in thin feather like strokes that blend along side existing eyebrow hair to enhance or replace missing areas of the natural shape of eyebrows. Microblading is also sometimes called embroidery, feather touch and hair-like strokes because the technique results in softer more natural looking eyebrows.

Hello there!

Are you wondering if you’re a candidate to receive microblading or permanent makeup here at Naturel?

Let’s run through the checklist below to find out!

Please read this carefully as there are some things that may delay or prevent this type of service all together.

-You MUST be 18 years or older to receive this service. Your artist may ask to see I.D. at your appointment

-If you are pregnant or nursing the service will need to wait until after they have been concluded.

-Please do not get a chemical or laser peel at least 6 weeks prior to your appointment.

-Avoid any AHA preparations (alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic acid and lactic acid)for at least 2 weeks before your appointment.

-Do not receive botox at least 2 weeks before or after your appointment.

-Please discontinue the use of Retin A at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

If you have allergies and are concerned about a possible reaction, please contact us to schedule a patch test as soon as possible.

If you are on antibiotics, we will need to schedule your appointment for after you have finished taking them.

If you have visible skin conditions near the treatment area (psoriasis, eczema, etc) we will need to schedule you when they are not flared up.

Important to note:

Do not have alcohol, aspirin or any other blood thinners for 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Do not have coffee for 12 hours before your appointment.

Do not work out on the day of your appointment.

If you are regularly taking fish oil or vitamins these generally increase circulation and might mean that you will bleed a little more than expected. This also might mean that the pigment retention might not be as successful as expected.

If you have problems healing you can expect that the healing process will be longer than usual and must follow post care closely during the healing process.

If you have haemophilia this may result in poor clotting / healing. You will be advised that it may take longer for the procedure to heal.

If you have high blood pressure, treatment can still be performed, but the pigment retention may not be as good as for those with normal blood pressure. There may be more blood present during the treatment and repeat visits will be likely.

You will need to provide a doctor’s note if you have any of the following:

Anemia                                                                                                              diabetes

We are unable to perform the service if any of the following apply to you

Avoid aspirin and other blood thinners.

Do not work out the day of your appointment.

Dress comfortably as you will be required to lay still for multiple hours.

Eat something prior to your appointment so you are not hungry during your service.

Keep in mind that the 2nd appointment is 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment and the same protocol will need to be followed to prepare for that appointment as well.
